The Management Team

Peter Orpen, Director & Chief Operations Officer

Peter is a founder of AVT and his industry experience spans over 25 years, covering every aspect of AVT's business. As well as heading up the organisation and the Board of Directors, Peter retains client facing responsibilities, most especially with ensuring quality throughout the business. He is also an integral part of the AVT consultancy team, working closely with clients to develop their events strategies and find solutions to communications challenges. Peter works from the company's Head Office in Brighton.

Robin St Clair Jones, MD & Director of Business Development

Robin has worked in the live event industry for over 20 years, during which time his acquired national and international experience making him one of the most knowledgeable conference producers in the country. His hands-on management style and leadership have produced a close-knit, smooth-running, capable team that delivers. Clients that Robin and his events team have worked with include: T-Mobile, CIPFA, Credit Suisse, London Business network, Reader' Digest, BAA Gatwick and Vodafone.

Jon Fox, Director of Events & Media Production

Jon has been working with digital video and web technology for over fifteen years. His knowledge and hands-on experience in this fast-developing media production arena have been instrumental in the development of AVT's digital media services. His creative team have worked with clients including the Electrical Saftey Council, Norwich Union, CIMA , The CBI , Abbott Laboratories and the NCT.

Sharma Hadrill, Business Development Manager

Sharma has worked for AVT for over 15 years, during which time she has developed in-depth knowledge of live event and media production services. She is invariably a new client's first point of contact, undertaking the first stage of project development for clients such as: BUPA International, Wiley-Blackwell, Timberland, SII (Securities & Investment Institute) and the Pensions Regulator. She is also committed to maintaining a high quality of service through her involvement with AVT's BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and IIP (Investors in People) quality assurance accreditation and procedures.
