Regional Manager Profile:

Head of AVT South-West Region, Jon Johnson has been planning and managing live events for over a decade.   Trained as a professional sound engineer and technician at the SAE Institute, he started work with AVT in Brighton.  Here he developed expertise and experience across the company’s full range of services, from AV hire and support to full event and media production for a wide variety of clients.

In 1997 Jon moved back to his hometown of Truro to open the company’s first dedicated regional office, servicing clients across the South-West of England.   Under Jon’s leadership, AVT South-West has developed a reputation for professionalism, innovation and extracting maximum value from available budgets. This has resulted in AVT South-West counting some of the region’s major names amongst its ever growing client portfolio.

AVT's Truro office focuses on providing a service specifically for local companies and organisations, backed by the brand name and facilities of a national organisation.   Jon says "AVT can tailor solutions to fit, whether that means a small sales presentation or local event, right up to a major regional conference or awards ceremony.   As well as staging and producing events, we can also add value by advising clients on full event strategies."
