AVT goes wild about Sussex

The Challenge

Sussex Wildlife Trust approached AVT with a request to sponsor and produce a professional multimedia programme that would achieve promotional objectives for the Trust, including exposure of the organisation’s activities and communicating the benefits of becoming a sponsor. This multimedia programme was to comprise video and PowerPoint™, for delivery on CD-ROM.

The AVT Solution

Sussex Wildlife Trust’s Business Development Officer identified the major elements of the content required, allowing AVT’s creative team to produce an in-house CD-ROM platform.  AVT were provided with everything they needed other than the opening video, considered essential to get across the beauty of the Sussex landscape.

Earlier in the summer, AVT won a tender to produce a video for the South East of England’s Development Agency (SEEDA).  After corresponding with SEEDA’s communications’ team, the SWT was given permission to use some of the footage from their video for the promotional CD-ROM.  Sussex Wildlife Trust’s Business Development Officer was also impressed with the example of the CD-ROM that AVT had produced in the past for the Cornwall Tourist Board.

AVT programmers put together a series of three-dimensional squares that could rotate onscreen and act as the entry points for the three main sections of content for the CD-ROM.  As with the Cornwall Tourist Board CD-ROM, Sussex Wildlife Trust was also able to have different images on the rotating squares.  With AVT’s online client-approval access, we were able to organise content and post-produce the design and functionality in a matter of days.

The Results

The CD-ROM programme was distributed to 1000 Sussex businesses and sponsorship opportunities have been sourced and partnerships established as a direct result.

‘We were thrilled when AVT supported the Trust by part sponsoring the production of a new information CD-ROM.  Fantastic design, combined with great project management has produced inspiring results and we are confident that this new information tool will attract further support for our work in conserving the wildife and habitats of this beautiful county.”
