There’s only “One Dentsply"!

The Challenge

AVT were honoured to again be chosen by Dentsply to project manage and co-ordinate their 3-day UK Export Conference.  This took place at the 'Five-Star' Green Park Hotel in Bostanci, which is located on the Asian side of Istanbul.  There were over 60 delegates in attendance from a region covering the Middle East, Africa the CIS and UK head office.

Dentsply are the largest dental manufacturer in the world and serves the needs of dental professionals everywhere.  Their products are sold in over 100 countries under some of the most established brands in the industry.

This is the 3rd time in recent years that AVT have worked for Dentsply - previous conferences have been held in Warwickshire and Jersey.

The AVT Solution

AVT were tasked with project managing the 3-Day event and ensuring that everything ran smoothly.  Dave Coxall, our IT and technical specialist was in charge of overall operations.  He flew out to Istanbul to manage the venue’s technical support team and also implement and run the graphics and multimedia side of things.

Dave commented, “This year was a challenge as I was working with a new team, but we all gelled and pulled together to make sure everything ran to the high standards expected by our client.  I got particular satisfaction from being a part of helping the Dentsply team realise their “One” vision for the conference.”

The Results

 

The Dentsply team were delighted with how the 3 days went and in gratitude to Dave’s efforts presented him with a special “Star Contributor” award for general expertise and always being on-hand to “go the extra mile”.
