3rd Annual Summit, Cannes

The Challenge

C-COR’s 3rd Annual Global IP Summit brought another opportunity for AVT to partner with Yellow*Fish Event Management in the production of this prestigious event which the two companies have been handling for the last three consecutive years. Once again the conference required webcasting and this time it took place on the fabulous croisette in Cannes on the 28th and 29th June 2007 and was held at the Hotel Martinez.

The AVT Solution

During the conference, 21 of the top industry leaders were interviewed about the IP industry. These “Executive Interviews” were recorded in a separate pressroom in front of a green-screen in order to be post-edited.

When ATV and Yellow*Fish returned to Brighton, the 21 Executive Interviews were edited into two versions and composited onto background images. These were added to a micro-site which AVT specifically created for C-COR.

The micro-site was produced containing an index of interviews with thumbnail images, linking to the individual clips. AVT facilitated access to the conference micro-site via a password protected area within the main C-COR website.

The production of the micro-site and viewing console included the general and panel session material, as well as general information about the summit and the speakers. AVT used the standard on-demand hosting package, Windows Media, in order for 100 viewers to watch the entire web cast online.

The Results

“2007 sees yet another successful partnership in delivering the C-COR annual Global IP Summit. Each year we face the challenge to ‘up the ante’ on the AV & Production side of the event and this year certainly achieved that!

The filming and recording of all sessions and events is extremely important for the post event web streaming and year on year AVT has improved both the quality and turn around time.
