ACC Liverpool Promo DVD

The Challenge

The City of Liverpool has a new Arena & Convention Centre, which opened in Jan 2008 during their Capital of Culture Year.  When the Liverpool Echo Arena & Convention Centre contacted AVT, they required dynamic sales material in order to promote the new venue to a wide audience.

After discussion it was decided that a short video programme would be the best way to convey the new Liverpool complex as the World Class venue that it most definitely is.  AVT were thrilled to be involved with a venue that is environmentally friendly, super high-tech, physically flexible and individual in its design.

The AVT Solution

AVT produced and edited materials including animated graphics, with bright and breezy upbeat music selected to accompany the footage.  The programme showcases Liverpool, its culture, nightlife, transport links and the range of amenities the city has to offer.  

The graphics include an artist’s impression of the venue which is currently being constructed, along with architectural visuals and 3D animation, taking the video to a full 3 and a half minutes.

The Results

The final delivery of the programme was put on DVD, and the completed project was given to delegates at promotional exhibitions.  At IMEX, the video played on a loop on the VisitBritain stand and the notion of a world-class venue was received with enthusiasm by event organisers and delegates from the UK and overseas.

This whole project was turned around in just 5 days and the General Manager of the Convention Centre was full of praise.
